Hold Your Head Up

The band Argent came out with a song in the early 70's, which was the song, 'Hold your head up'.

Keyboardist Rod Argent founded this band in 1968. Rod was formally from the band 'The Zombies'.

This song made it to #5 on the U.S. billboard charts in 1972. It was written by Rod Argent and Chris White.

These are the lyrics:

And if it's bad
Don't let it get you down, you can take it
And if it hurts
Don't let them see you cry, you can make it

Hold your head up, hold your head up
Hold your head up, hold your head high

And if they stare
Just let them burn their eyes on you moving
And if they shout
Don't let it change a thing that you're doing

Hold your head up, hold your head up
Hold your head up, hold your head high

My big sis had this 45 and the flip side was closer to heaven (I had to Google That) She traded this band in for Brownsville Station a year later. I remember I never liked this music much when it came out but started to enjoy it when during my college years
